EPDM Ballasted Systems can be applied on many different types of buildings, but are ideal for large open roofs without many penetrations such as a warehouse.

Sheets of insulation are loose laid on the decking. EPDM sheets are then loose laid to cover the insulation. Adjoining sheets are overlapped and spliced with seam tape. The perimeter of the roof and all penetrations are then flashed according to the technical specifications of the specific system. After completion, the entire roof is weighed down using river washed ballast.
